You listened to a book for 50 hrs?
What did you learn from it?
It must have been truly engrosding?!
I went on a journey through history, which wasn’t my intention but I enjoyed tremendously. Since then I’ve several conversations with historians and enthusiasts that I could follow and really participate in. I gained an understanding of the ancient culture, religious views, religious conflicts, science, medicine, and travel. Then there where the characters and their development arcs. I sobbed when Caesar died, when Cleopatra gave birth, when younger Ptolemy died, and of course at the end. The story became a dear companion in the backdrop of my life and when it was over, I longed for it. Thank you for asking and I hope you get a chance to enjoy it.
